Is there a gizmo available that I can install that will blink the brake lights a few times then stay on till released? Negative Ground.

You'll hate me for this, but your foot will do that very nicely.

Also, if you have not done it, I highly recommend putting in LED bulbs in the rear. They are so much brighter than standard bulbs. I like the ones from LiteZupp. They directly replace the old bulb. Also you would need a new turn signal flasher that supports LED bulbs. With the brighter LED bulbs you may not need them to flash.

I have used the GS-100A that sells for a couple of bucks on eBay:

Works fine with LEDs. I suspect that regular incandescents would light up and go out to slowly for it to be effective with them.

If you do not want to convert to LEDs an alternative is to just use the strobe to flash an LED third brake light. That is what I did on this car:

I also used that gizmo that Geo mentioned. Worked just fine to flash an LED third brake light on both a TR6 and TR3.

Cheers, Mike
