Bleeding the Clutch

I am a new owner of a 1973 XKE that is in need of much love and attention. I am trying to bleed the clutch but am having some difficulty locating the bleeding nipple. I looked through several manuals and they all have the diagrams but I can't seem to locate the bleeding nippe. Is it me or is there another way??

how many lines are connected to the slave cylinder? It is possible that someone has brought the bleed nipple up to a more convenient spot under the bonnet?

Hum, That is certainly a possiblity. I believe there were two line. I'll have to check.

If you cannot find the bleeder it is possible to put a hand vac (Mighty Vac Hand Pump) or a Vacuula (compressor vac) on the reservoir and pull the air out. This is how I bleed all of my hydraulic systems and it works in just a few moments.

that is a method I have not heard of before, are you saying that you just remove the filler cap and then draw a vacuum in the reservoir?
