T-Series Bleedin the Bleedin Clutch

Hi All, I have no clutch, and can't seem to be able to bleed the slave to get a clutch. At rest, the slave clutch fork and throw out arm, have about a half inch of play. Is this normal? If not, what might the causes be? I have a 78 that I can canabalize a master and slave cylinder from, that I know is working, so I guess my main concern is the play. Thanks, Mike

erm... I don't think that's normal to have that much play down there. Once you get the slave bled there should be little to no play at all.
 
I had about that much play in the fork before I bled. I am almost there but other worries abound. I should know soon & will post what I find out.
 
Forgot to mention that after bleeding and the cap is on, fluid comes out of the side of the cap when the pedal is pushed. I know that ain't normal.javascript:void(0)

I just re-biult my Clutch MC and slave and both are working. If you are getting fluid squirting out up top the MC might be bad of the clutch lines are clogged. I can tell you that the clutch slave needs to be be bled a lot before it starts to work ok.
