I am wondering if the blanking plate for an earlier (pre-77 B) will fit a 77 B. It appears that the radio opening is the same size. Maybe I should go with the plastic $11.00 one from Moss for my car,or spend $40.00 for the better looking one.
I got a piece of black textured ABS from TAP Plastic out of their remant bin for less than five dollars. They sell remnants by the pound and the guy cut the remnant to the size I needed for a couple of extra dollars. Total cost was less than five dollars.
Problem solved by Northwest Imports! The plastic blanking plate they sell for the 77-80 B was purchased for about $10.00, I used a silver sharpie to highlight the MG logo. While digging around I removed the radio and console and repainted it cleaned the arm rest and found a 1" plastic plug for the lighter hole. Will post a photo soon.
