Trying to find out more about my 74. Manufacture date is 10/73.
The egine was completely rebuilt by the previous owner. The aluminium plate which would have had the engine number on is completely blank.
The block casting number is 12H2447. Would this be consistant with a manufacture date of 10/73??? I know you can get various info from Britsh Motor Heritage. Would they have a listing of engine numbers associated with block casting numbers?
