blackhawk museum on my to do list

oooooh, drool, drool

Look for the TV program "A Carography". They play one every now and then titled "Car Museums" or something similar. This is one of the many museums they cover. Other west coast museums on the program, I believe, are Petersen (LA, CA), Nethercutt (Sylmar, CA), and Harrah's (Reno, NV).

I'd have to say that if I'm ever in the area I would have to go there. Do they have multi-day passes so that I can drool for a while.

Imperial Palace in vegas has a fair collection too.

I went to the Imperial Palace before they sold off many of their Duesenbergs. It was the largest single collection of Duesies in the world.

A great collection here in the Northwest is www.lemaymuseum.org . It's the largest car collection in the world. I suggest everyone join and support it, as it is a fantastic operation with great people.

If anyone will be in the Tacoma area on August 27 --which is the only day each year they open their entire collection to the public, drop me a line. I have four free tickets, and will not be going (I was just there in March to write a story on their Dodge Charger 440, and was also there in January.)

just email me at sbarer@apexstrategy.com if you want the tickets. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
