black top tabs?

I was curious as to where those little black taps on the front oft he top should be seated when the top is up, currently the drivers side on sits on top of the windshield frame, while the other one sits to the side of it, and I don't think that's proper?
 
Do you mean te tabs on either side of the top?. mine snap inside- at the top of the windshield post.

I think he means the rubber bump pads.
 
Yes they are rubberish and held on by 2 screw i believe, I wanted to know because they seem to be holding the top off the windshield frame causing water to shoot in when it rains
 
ya im thinking of taking mine off becuase that gap is letting all that rain come in...and the air noise form that gap... augh
