Black Hard top?

I have a black hardtop on my Mk 2. Mine is not a factory top. I bought it from Donald Healey's dealership a few months after I bought my car there. My car is also black and can be seen along with my hardtop on my Webshots page listed below.

My Heritage Certificate lists that a Dark Blue soft top was on my Leaf Green Bugeye, I am fairly certain that is incorrect. I read somewhere that all of the Bugeye factory hard tops were white. Someone may correct me however, I am no expert.

The Restorer's Guide by Terry Horler says they were all ivory white on the mk1 and under the bad yellow paint the top does seem to be white. But the idea of a black top instantly started to grow on me.

Years before I get to paint though.
