BJ8 wing and panel fixing help?

I am hoping some members will be able to help me. I am currently fitting up the outer panels on my car and want to ensure that I get all the wing fixings in the right places.

I have bought new fixing kits for front and rear and note they are made up of some bolts and clips plus some nights and bolts.

Is there a way of finding out what goes where and what the correct original positioning was?

I also would like details on the fixings and position of fixings used to mount the front and rear shrouds?

Thanks

Wing fixings for most of the Healey range are pretty much the same,

the nuts and bolts would fit below the head lights on the front wings

The short fine threaded bolts alone would fit the front top two or three positions just behind the B post - captive nuts, can't remember the exact number but a physical check should determine that.

The remainder of the holes will incorporate the clips onto the wing sections and those course threaded bolts, the shorter course bolts are on the front wing and are behind the headlights.

Hope that is of some help

Thank you Bob - I want to ensure that I get the spacing of the nuts and bolts underneath the front and rear wings right as I didn't have any when mine was broken down. I am also keen to see the spacing of the nuts and bolts that fix to the B post. Are there diagrams etc?

Are you referring to those nuts/bolts at the bottom of the front of the rear wings, and the bottom of the front wings fixing into the sills ( rockers?), I must confess that I fixed mine from the old wings - 2 on the back wings and three on the front wings.

Return edge fixings on the rear wings into the B post - again I followed the holes already in the wings and the post.
