BJ8 window removal

I need a safe way to remove the glass on the triangular window. I am replacing the glazing rubber. The old stuff is dry and hard and I do not want to damage the glass. Will a penetrating oil work? I guess soapy lubricant to re-install?

Warm water and soap can't hurt. I can't remember what I did when I replaced mine. Wasn't too hard. I believe I used a thin flat blade screw driver on the glass edge and slowly pried the frame off.

HI TH, Try any type of thin oil and a little heat from a heat from" heat gun/hairdryer.
