BJ8 MKIII unknown parts

I am currently restoring a BJ8 MKIII and do not know where the parts belong to, which can be seen in the picture below.
The sheets each have two threads that I had to drill during disassembly. Can someone tell me where the parts are used?

They go behind the striker plate for the door locks and are on the backside accessible from the wheel well.
