Am in the process of reinstalling the gauges into a new BJ8 Dashboard and seem to have forgotten where a small blue jumper wire goes, I had it wire tied to the speedo wires so I would gather it goes from the speedo to another gauge. Any insight? The car was converted yrs ago to negative ground if that makes any difference.
Thanks
ED

There is a blue/white wire that goes to the high beam indicator bulb.

Why do you say it is a "jumper wire"? Does it look like it is not original to the wiring? The physical wiring does not change with a change to negative ground. The only wiring to the speedo is a red/white for the panel light, a black for ground, and a blue/white for the high-beam indicator. The other end of the blue/white plugs into a Lucas multiple connector that routes it on to the headlight dimmer switch.
