I have been looking for several months for a BJ8 fuel gauge Smith part number FG2333/10. I have found some in the UK but would prefer to buy one here and have it rebuilt. Anyone got a possible source? Thanks George

Yep use Ricks reference above and give that Bugger James Dean a call he has more LBC parts than anyone I know.

WEEEEEL, You can try David Knock at British Car specialties , Ian at Healey Surgeons or Virginia at Sports and Classics

Re gauges on ebay - fuel gauge is not for a BJ8.

For what it is worth to anyone looking for a gauge or a core - I have tried all suggested leads and several more from the local club, friends, etc. all to no avail.

If you need a BJ8 gauge and do not have a core the only sources I have been able to find are all in the UK. Prices vary considerably so I suggest you do some shopping to find the best deal. George
 
Marv, Thanks - I already ordered one to be built and shipped from the UK. Otherwise would jump at the chance. This part seems very hard to find in the US. Thanks George
