Hello all,
I haven't been too active in the last 6 months other than a
question on paint colors but solved that as I just purchased
a nice Colorado Red 66 BJ8 and starting to look at a few
projects. Question on the exhaust system for the BJ8's -
I know the standard is the system with front and rear
mufflers & exiting on the right side but was wondering can you install the system used on a BJ7 ? I ask this as based on a 100-6 I sold earlier this year, I had more clearance with that exhaust system versus the BJ8 standard system and as we have speed bumps all over the place where I live, clearance is a real issue. The current system is rather
long in the tooth so if I have to replace I might go with
a BJ7 system if it will work.
One other question, has anyone ever seen the seat frame
where it has been modified to raise the height of the
entire frame ? Guess one of the earlier owners must have
been pretty short as it is raised up a good inch.
Looking forward to this great exhange of ideas again.
Regards,
Mike
