BJ8 carpet

Is there a difference between carpet for a phase 1 and a late BJ8? I purchased a set and when it arrived the package said it was for a "Late BJ8". ????
Thanks.

TH,
The only difference that I know of is the torque boxes behind the seats. The early BJ8 had the pan hard rod and no torque boxes. That said the rear carpet section may have enough extra to cover the small torque box section. Hope this helps and have a good day!

In addition to covering the torque boxes with carpet there also a vinyl strap that was sewn into the carpet and had a snap for the other end. I would assume that this was to cover the bolt head of the radius arms and still provide access to get to the bolt head while providing a decorative cover for it. I bought a carpet kit several years ago and the carpet box covers were poorly made and did not come with the strap.
