Hello, another carpet question.
Original carpets were not bound on the edges. However the transmission carpet dipstick flap was and also the end of the carpet were it meet the back seat hump. If I recall correctly.
I'm assuming the tranny carpet was held in place with 8 snaps, 4 snaps on each side near the bottom.
Where did the front carpet start (near the seat) and did it extend to the firewall?
How many snaps and where were they?
The rear carpet met the front carpet and extended to the rear where the seats are.
How many snaps and where were they?
Was the jute glued to anything (floor or carpet) or was it held in place with snaps or not?
Assuming it was also two pieces, same size as the front/rear carpet?
Thank you in advance
