BJ7 Top Rear Curtain Questions

Have gotten to the point in the restoration that brings me to the top. The frame assembly is off to the powder coater after having been dipped for rust removal. My top is the type that incorporated a non-zippered rear curtain. The dipping process seems to have resulted in the loss of the anchor pieces that the rear curtain latches clip to. Question #1: In the interest of fabricating replacements, does anyone have photos of those anchor pieces in place on the bow? Question #2: Is the metal rail fitted to the top of the curtain painted the same color as the frame?
 
Hi Rick, Ding Ding Ding! That is it exactly. My parts guy (who is a Moss reseller here in Portland) remembered seeing a catch like this in Moss's MG catalog. We found it in the MGA windshield section where the exact same latch and catch combo are used at the middle-top (just one per car) and ordered two for me. Hopefully they are identical and I won't need to fabricate replacements. Excellent pics. Thank you ever so much..................hd

Picked up the catches from Tom of Tom's Import Toy Sales here in Portland (503-245-0174) and they are the exact correct part. They are Moss p/n 240-520 bearing the description 'Catch, Windshield Center' but are without a doubt the same part used on the BJ7 top bow as shown in Rick's pics above. The Latch shown on the 'Top and Tonneau Cover' page (Moss p/n 453-225) is identical to what is used in combination with the catch to fasten the BJ7 curtain. Tom has been an invaluable resource as he know's the Moss Master Catalog and our LBC's backwards and forwards........................hd
