bighealey, ive done two sets of seats and also found the lack of material for the bottoms, a while back i bought a "white" heavey duty industrial sawing machine along with a couple of extra yards of material and added lenght to those sections so id have something to grab onto and stretch/pull those pieces into position, if one saws it correctly you dont even have to use the same material or color, those seams never show on the outer edges, makes the kit so much easier to install, and adds the advantage of giving more material to glue staple clip or screw into for more strength, no more material rolling back out over the edges, ive seen people punch holes near the edges of the material with screw drivers and awls in order to achieve some leverage, they just ripped the poor thing to shreds, you might ask was the cost of the sawing machine justified? well the local interior guy here in stamford ct. wanted $600.00 per seat just for labor, no kit, no material, id put my "bottom" up against his any day, and my son and wife "allow" me to do all the sawing for them, i actually injoy doing "saw".
