BJ7 Interior questions

Hopefully someone can help me. I think the guy that did most of my bodywork on my BJ7 cut out the attachments that holds the spring to the floor that goes to the top. I was wondering if anyone has a picture of where they go and what it looks like. Did I also mention the brackets that hold the backseat rest were taken out also.... I bought the picture set from British Car Specialist, they have helped out a lot just not in these sections of the interior.

Thanks,
Pete

Pete,
My BJ8 uses a 2" x 2" square plate, 1/8" thick with the top corners cut off at 45 degrees. It is welded to the inner sill and sticks up above the sill 3/4" with a hole in it for the spring. The centerline of the hole is 3.5" from the rear wheel arch. I would take a picture but I have not been able to post photos on this site. Hope this helps and have a good day!

John

Thanks a lot. I am going to assume mine is the same. Hopefully they are wrong about what they say about when you assume something...

Tanks again
