BJ7 finally back on the road after and 18 month rebuild

After a protracted eighteen month rebuild my BJ7 is back on the road and running very nicely. There are still jobs to do, the hood doesn't fold away quite as it should, but does fit properly round the windows, the new nearside front shock might be leaking, and we intend to retrim and re-carpet, but preserve the seats, so that it maintains some links with its original self. It's a very nice old thing and I'm happy.

Here she is in Cherrington, Gloucestershire, about a mile from Princess Anne. :rolleye:

More (working) pictures please ;-)

I'd love to, but posting photos on this forum is a nightmare, I can only get on to it on one of my computers.

It was an extensive body rebuild, the rest was pretty good, but I do have hood issues. It fits well round the windows, looks good but doesn't fold away quite as I'd like.

Lovely smooth old engine, very quiet mechanically, pulls like a truck from tickover and sounds Asthmatic at high revs, but you don't need them to get along well.

Congratulations EV.

Congratulations, I'll have to pop down to see it. You should take it to Castle Coombe next sunday. Its the Autumn Classic and there is a Big Healey race with a grid of about 27 cars. Great to watch.

I had PC pronlems that kept me from posting pics. Click on: Reply With Quote then select Go Advanced and then scroll down to Management. From there go to Browse. When done post selecting the photos you want to post go to Upload. Once uploaded you're ready to Post the Reply. I aways "write" my response before uploading the photos. The size of the photo files must be small or it may take a while to upload. I use Picaso, free, to resize my large file photos and I do that by going to "export" on their menu and that's confusing enough because I want to resize and what has Export got to do with that??

I'm using an iPad and think I have actually managed a post from it! Victory!

However I'm not sure what size of photo I'm allowed to post.

I'll try an image after the Moto GP. :friendly_wink:
