BJ7 exhaust

Apparently some BJ7s destined for some overseas markets were fitted with 2 single mufflers arranged much like the later BJ8s with the ends of the tailpipes sticking out from the right rear. An additional single muffler was used at the back end aligned at 90degrees across the car under the trunk.
Has anyone in BCFland ever run across one of these cars? Does it sound very different from the standard 3000 setup with just the one muffler and straight pipes out the back? Does anyone carry replacement exhaust systems for this (seemingly rare) particular arrangement.
Cheers

A common mod in the sixties was to fit the front two boxes from a BJ8 and have two pipes coming out of the rear left that were larger in diameter. It reduced the rasp a bit, but the BJ7 is lower than the BJ8 at the back, so won't take a crossways muffler unless you want to hit the road with it.

I don't believe they were ever sold with anything but the Burgess, which had a life of about 12 hours before it burnt it's contents and rasped with the best of them.
