Does anyone have or know where I can buy an used boot lid in reasonable conditions (not rusted) for my BJ7
Thanks for any offers or information.
Michal

Hello Michal,
Welcome to the forum.
Keep your eyes open on Ebay. They show up there every once in a while.
I believe a BJ8 lid will also fit.
Good luck,
Roger

All six cylinder boot/trunk lids would be the same.

Since it's unlikely you'll find one without having to pay shipping, why not just consider getting a new one from someone like AH Spares https://www.ahspares.co.uk/products/productdetail.aspx?GUID=e0716d6f-3001-4bc8-a1d2-44f626bf7f17 (they also offer it in aluminum, for very little extra) or SC Austin-Healey (looks like they offer a used boot id, as well as steel or alloy versions) https://www.scparts.co.uk/index/lang-2/lk...ldetailtop=-500

Welcome, and good luck!

Thanks guys. I just thought that some of you might know somebody in UK who can have some stock of used ones in good condition. Simply becouse the difference in price between the new one and used one is around 300GBP/480USD - and this gives enough reasons to look for a while for a used one - as this part can be easily repaired. But if I do not find any reasonable stuff, then I will bye a new one - probably from ahead4healyes.com as already dealed with them for some other parts.
Superwrench - I emailed my request to oldcarpartguy, will see his feedback, but indeed, an issue is the shipping
Anyway thanks again a lot for your help!!!
