BJ7/8 Convertible Top Issues

I just ordered a Robbins Stayfast top for my BJ7 during their 25% off sale: The original top that is still on the car has cuts on both sides along the top bows Apparently this was a big enough problem on the early BJ7s that they issued a Factory Service Bulletin on it. The bulletin advises removing part of the tonneau trim rail and it looks like the later cars and BJ8 used a different one to alleviate the problem. They also suggested some changes to the top bows. This leads to three questions

1. Does anyone have a later trim piece they'd like to sell?

2. Has anyone tried the top rail modifications?

3. Do the BJ8's have these same problems with top cutting?

Thanks

My BJ8 had an (apparently) fairly new, probably aftermarket vinyl top on it when I bought it 35 years and approx. 150K miles ago; no such cuts on it.

Neither of my 1966 BJ8 cars have that cut either ?

'66 BJ8 here - I have similar cuts on the passenger side of the top (none that I've identified on the driver side).
