MGB Biscuit interior in Red MGB??

Dave, mine are, well you know how rubber exposed to the weather gets all those little weather cracks. I think mine are just too far gone for painting. Will probably go with chrome later. We'll see.

Understand Devoe makes some nice house paint.

Hey Tom -

Is it a bright red or a darker red? I've a Damask Red '76 B (almost maroon) which I plan to restore to the original color, (or colour, to be completely original!), and I plan on a bisquit/tan interior as well. I'm also planning on matching the bumpers to the body. Scot Keating has a beautifully done B with matching bumpers pictured here:

A little inspiration, as is Dave's pic. Thanks, Dave!

Ultimately, unless you're doing a concourse restoration, it should make you happy. If you want to paint it like the british flag, and that makes you happy, go for it!

Keep us posted!

(ROADSTR6) Dave, after seeing your beautiful car, I wish I had gone with bisquit in mine.

Paul, Rob, Bob & Jack,
A friend finaly talked me into putting the beast in his paint booth to put the finishing touches on and I have found many, many little things that need attention. It is amazing what you can see with the propper lighting. More wet sanding is required since I have discovered what "solvent pops" look like. Looks like another week or so before finish painting.
Rob, The color I have been putting on is a Cranberry Red. So I guess it is a kind of dark red. When this thing is finished I'm going to enjoy it like a sailor with a --- well, like a rented companion.

If you want to see the tiniest flaws in paint, put the car under florescent lights. It will bring out marks in the paint that you will never find in the sun light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif PJ

Noop, not intrested in that close of an inspection. Would prob just make me sad.

Paul, It is under florescent lights and I am finding plenty more to do. Wet sand, let dry and then look for little shiny spots.
Oh Well, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif
