In my final year of Engineering at the University of ALberta, we had a home room, and I spent the big bucks (starving student, back) then and bought posters of Raquel and Sophia, and put them up at the front of the classroom (and, over time, some evil scoundrel stole them!).

Since we got our BJ7 running properly a few years ago, I've put it in the occasional low-key car show.

I put a notice on it, advising what is is, then identifying the 'tasteful' upgrades we've made, and then conclude with something akin to:

"Any kid in his Kia will out-accelerate, out-handle, be more comfortable and more reliable than this.
And I don't care!
Because NOTHING looks nor sounds like a Healey!"

And I feel the same about these two ladies: Happy Birthday!

Sophia Loren, Sept. 20, 1934 (turning 86. And not quite as hot as when she was only in her 70s. And I don't care!) Dame Grand Cross OMRI,
Raquel Welch, Sept. 05, 1940

Give a choice between sitting beside Bimbo of the Week out of Hollywood or either of these two ladies on a long airplane ride - no question!
