Well...made another year...don't know why people "celebrate" birthdays. other than they're glad to be breathing. Alwyas felt ripped off as a kid having the big day fall the day before Christmas...now as a parent..and grandparent..just how difficult it must have been for my parents. I'm still brething, walking(kind of) and am looking foward(choke) to a year from today when I hit the big 60.

Best wishes, Jack!

I'm but four months behind you on reaching 60...

Happy Birthday Jack...I am 6 1/2 months behind. I originally planned to celebrate at 59 1/2 cause then I could touch my IRA's without a penalty, but not much left there. I always felt that my Mom was the one who should celebrate my birthday as she had gotten to finally dump me and stop carrying me around anyway. (I never felt like I had accomplished anything on my birthday but survival.)
So congratulations of surviving another year.

Happy birthday, Jack!

Turned 61 on Sunday, celebrated by installing new carpet on the basement steps. Don't know how I can stand the excitement.

Know the feeling Jack. Mine was yesterday and the only thing I look forward to is the "date night" with the wife.

Congrats Jack and have many more

To all of you...thank you. My wife and I lead a wild lifestyle. We hit forty years of marriage this past 5th of July( have known each other since we were five years old) dated all through school. Neither of us smoke, drink or party...for fun we watch the grandkids...and of course putt around in our car collection. Tonite is a biggy...Red Lobster..than a movie at home, can it get any better???

We've a friend who's birthday is on Christmas. His parents decided to move the celebration 6 months on and have it every June 25th- about the only people who knew when his real birthday was were the close family; and even they all had to conform and send cards/presents on his "official" birthday rather than his "calendar" one....

Happy b-day, Jack!

I'm not too far behind you, bro'. Just remember, every day on the green side of the grass is a good one!

Cheers to you.

MARK!!I thought you wuz a youngin'! Jack has about 18 months' head start on me, too.

Congrats, Jack!
