Re: Bingo

That is just lovely, Jack! Really classy. Most excellent job.

Re: Bingo

Jack,
Fantastic looking car! Now "Drive it like you stole it!"

Re: Bingo

Let me tell you guys, it has been a long walk from Feb a year ago to today with the interior finished preaty much as she was when she was new if not a bit better.

Need to install seat belts yet but no rush on those. Boy are they nice, Moss, Chrome buckles are flawless and the webbing is smooth as silk, made in OK.

Wheel is very nice, went on without a hitch, shift knob even had the threads aligned so the crest was pointing correctly.

Ok, that is an entire Moss interior, the whole thing. Hard to say anything bad about quality or fit. I'm sure I could have paid more and gotten even better. However, this is fine, just fine for my use and is easly replaceable if I screw something up down the road.

Rear bumpers off being chromed so seems all I need now is door seals, tonnou cover, and a grill.

Yea I know there is more, yep. Top, wind deverter, trailer, more clear coat and polishing. But wow, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and in my eye is starting to look like a lady. She just purrs when I walk past. Never thought she would see a second life of leasure and joyful touring with the old man. Dam, I am pleased. It is really nice to do something for the next generation or so and still have it today. I should dought if she will ever slide into that pit of the rust worm and dirt again.

Re: Bingo

Nice work, Jack. That's a fine looking interior!

Re: Bingo

Oh, did you get my message?

Re: Bingo

Ahh, the one with the address, yep.

Re: Bingo

Jack

If you've run out of things to do now...I've got a TR# in the garage just pleading for the look....have a fetish towards red interior but it takes the right touch to look just right and not gawdy...nice work!

Re: Bingo

Top job Jack! When you gonna do mine?

Re: Bingo

Love those polished aluminium door top trims - they must have taken some elbow grease...

The "H" knob is for the heater. I just have a plain one on there at the moment. LOOKING LOOKING.

Boy ain't that the truth, blank knobs.

Thanks guy, and yep I owe ya one for the link.

Peter C is going to send me one, he has in stock.

Man am I getting close now

Door seals, waiting on funds.

Grill, waiting on funds.

Tononnu, waiting on funds.

Then it is just replaceing a few items, very few that are not quite right.

Jack,

Glad to know there were some parts in my PO bin that worked out for you. I have none of your outstanding list, sorry to say.

While writing, I just though I'd ask how the strangled ferret... errr... horn... worked out.

Chris
