Big Wiring Diagram For The Shop...Worth It?

You can get them free on line. Print as many as you want, even cut and print an expanded area if you have problems reading small print, or take the file to Kinkos and print larger ones. Paper and computer versions even allow you to make your own notes on the them.

Yankee- have made 3 different ones . while installing Dan's wire panel and I make a change he sends me a new schematic I load it on a disk take it to kinks and tell them to make it as big as possible and laminate it. They are great. Now all I need to do is talk Dan into making a color version for me and I will be all set!

I bought one of these ebay scematics, and instead use Dan Masters every time. It has more detail than the ebay one. Looks good on the garage fridge though.
 
Again big kudos, to Dan Masters for such a fine wiring diagram. I asked Dan a few years ago if I could put his wiring diagram on CD with a ton of other TR3 related files that I give away at to other TR3 owners at car shows. One class guy!
 
Kinko's will blow up and laminate your diagram for less than 5 bucks.


I was thinking of tattooing my firing order on my arm.
 
For the TR2-3A the wiring is so simple that I've always prefered the factory diagrams which are a true physical representation (rather than a logical diagram used for more complex systems and modern cars.

If youve never seen one... on the TR2-3A diagram the headlights are where the headlights are on the car, taillights at the other end, dash just like it looks from the drivers seat, etc.

Only problem with the factory diagrams is that they always seemed to use RHD cars for examples.
 
I'm w/ Roofman.... just blew up Dan Master's TR6 PDF, and printed/laminated it at 11x16, for about $6 at Kinko's. Thanks, Dan! (good electrical bible, too!)
 
We had a blow-up of the TR2-3 FSM diagram laminated and on the shop wall at the vintage shop I worked at. I loved it.
I have a version I made by putting the page of the manual in the copier and telling it to enlarge it (it now takes 9 pages), then taping it all together. If I got it laminated it would be pretty good.
Can't comment on purchasing one, but it's a great thing to have.

Now let's see...at my office I have a color printer...a laminating machine...some ambition...(not a lot!)...
 
My wife has a big laminator so I went to Office Depot and had 6 printed then went home and ran them through the laminator. I passed them out to all of the TR3s at the local show last year. I have a couple left over but the cost of a mailing tube and postage is more than having it done at Kinko's.
