Mrs JP and I are retiring at the end of the year and this is the first big step. We don't want to stay in Toronto for retirement. Not sure where we are ending up but we have narrowed it down to east or west of Toronto - so that is a start. will keep you posted!

Congratulations on taking that next big step!

As I tell many colleagues, don't just retire out of something. Retire into something new. Drinking, eating, playing games, and traveling get tiring when that's all you do.

Best wishes!
Tom M.

So,you'll have all your project vehicles done in no time....... right?

What?!? You don't like year 'round "summer"?

Congratulations….. on selling the house and retirement.

Absolutely  I am already getting palpatations about having to have the Vauxhall moveable by the end of July (closing is July 31)

Do love the idea of a year round summer - little matter of being one O them err illegal aliens. :ROFLMAO: Though we do have significant plans to winter warmer.

Congrats JP. Hope you get your fill of retirement. If you can put up with the rouge-necks, southwestern ontario is nice and reasonably quiet. Dave

A Little out of range at the moment but we have a good friend strongly suggesting London - so, maybe. :D

SW Oklahoma is pretty nice too.

It's a big step. Hard to believe I've been out of the Air Force (26yrs) longer than I was in (24). Then I retired from my civilian career after 20 more years and that was 8 years ago! Life is like a record - the longer it plays the faster the needle goes around. Best of luck wherever you end up!

What? - you don't want to defect to the US?
That was the plan 15 years ago when we moved there, didn't quite pan out. (But I did end up with the Midget because of it)

How is the smoke up there?? It's pretty thick down here.(in NJ)
Bad - we hear - we are currently in Newport RI and very smoggy here.
