I don’t know how much you guys know about this whole Brexit thing. Basically, England decided to build a wall to keep all the Italians out and the Queen said there’s going to be a big tax on any German suspension parts coming across the Chunnel – or at least that’s what I read on Facebook. The good news is, the organizers of the Big SoCal Euro 16 show are not as well read on world politics as some folks, so we’re still invited to join them, even though our cars are not technically European anymore. Regardless, this show is well worth the drive to San Diego. And for those of you who are not fans of the typical AM start times for most weekend car shows, good news! This one starts at 1 pm.
We’ll be planning a caravan, with a handful of pickup points, so we can all head down to Qualcomm together!
There will be a lot of cars (like, a couple thousand), there will be food (I’m assuming kettle corn and more), there will be sunshine (it’s San Diego after all), there will even be drag racing (1/8th mile dragstrip, helmet and ticket purchase required).
