It was 70 (21c) degrees here PA so I went for a 22 mile ride along the Susquehanna River.
It’s supposed to be fall but feels like spring!

That’s a really pretty area. I worked in Williamsport for 3 years and drove back and forth between there and our house in central VT. I always enjoyed that part of the trip…

I also worked for a small company in Williamsport for a short time.

gorgeous - when we drive to DC it takes us along the river and I always enjoy it. Lovely weather here also though very foggy the last couple of days.

Great pic's! Glad you got an "extended" bit of good riding weather. Used to make regular trips from the western side of PA to the east. Always enjoyed the scenery going with the top down, especially in the fall.

Oh had all sorts of fun biking activities here recently. As part of the lead up to a HUGE biking event in Tel Aviv, the Velodrome was opened for first timers. So I quickly signed up and got an hour of introductory riding on the drome. What a blast! to bad it isn't closer to my house.

Then Friday morning the city closed down the main highway, and created a 20KM loop just for cyclists.. My son and I signed up for the 60km ride (3 times around the loop).

apparently about 20,000 riders showed up for the 20km ride which is how you fill 5 lanes of a highway with bikes.

Yisroel - I had no idea Tel Aviv is such a huge city.

"Love from the first pedal"?

and so wonderful to share that ride with your son. Bravo!

Wow, that’s awesome to close the highway and allow bikes! Riding with your son is wonderful… M’Tov.

Good translation  with pedal begin both a verb and noun.
Tel Aviv is fairly large and in recent years just growing straight up. Starting to look like a little New York.
It is also a very friendly city for biking. Flat and lots of fantastic biking paths.

Closing the highway reminds me of the New York 5 Boro Bike ride. A fantastic 40 mile ride through all parts of NYC I did a long time ago.

How cool is that! I could probably make it 1/4 the way around the loop once before I collapsed LOL!
