Too bad Adam and Eve weren't Cajuns...

They would've ignored the apple and eaten the snake.

love it!

my favourite:

In a small Southern town there was a "Nativity Scene" that
showed great skill and talent had gone into creating it. One
small feature bothered me. The three wise men were wearing
firemen's helmets.

Totally unable to come up with a reason or explanation, I
left. At a "Quick Stop" on the edge of town, I asked
the lady behind the counter about the helmets.

She exploded into a rage, yelling at me, "You **** Yankees
never do read the Bible!"

I assured her that I did, but simply couldn't recall
anything about firemen in the Bible.

She jerked her Bible from behind the counter and ruffled
through some pages, and finally jabbed her finger at a
passage.

Sticking it in my face she said "See, it says right here,
'The three wise man came from afar.'"

Biblical Humor, Louisiana Style...thought the second word would have been Swaggart.

Bad. I need to send in my offering, I guess.

You better! :yesnod: (I'll PM you my address, I also accept paypal):whistle:

Years ago, we were on the way to a swamp tour from Biloxi. As we drove past a huge pile of discarded junk, the guide said "That's a Cajun Garage Sale".

Gotta be REALLY hungry to bother trying to eat a snake. Too many bones, very little meat. Tried it in Jungle Survival Training in the Philippines back-when. We called it "Snake School."

And I for one, am (mostly) pleased with the choice Adam & Eve made!
