We'll be going back to California for a visit later this year,& will need
to rent a car (or maybe two).I'm hoping we can get a ride from/to the
airport,so will rent one in town (Eureka).
Anyone have some good advice?

I try to rent a car directly from a smaller, more specialized company if I want something a bit different or higher quality. Big sites and Costco are fine for standard models, but if you want luxury or more unique options, those mainstream places don’t really have the selection. I like being able to book online and not mess with lines or counters too. Getting the car delivered to your door is a huge perk, especially in a busy city, and makes the process way less stressful.

If you ever need a premium car rental with simple booking, you should check out what’s available for luxury car rentals in New York on > Luxury Car Rental in NYC ᐈ Book a Premium Car in New York | RealCar < . Lots of convenient options and premium vehicles to pick from at that site.

I’ll be attending Mini Meet West in July, and in lieu of driving cross country with one of my classic Minis, I’ve opted to fly into Portland, OR. and rent a 2017 MINI Convertible from a private individual through TURO.

TURO is not unlike renting a privately owned home through AirB&B or VRBO. TURO works with private owners and it gives the renter the opportunity to select specific car brands and models.

Pick-up and drop-off will take place at the airport in Portland.

I recently participated in the five-day Hot Rod Power Tour during which I met two guys from Australia who went through TURO to rent a Z8 Corvette in California to use for a cross country road tour of the U.S.

My son uses Turo. It has worked well for him.
