My new to me 59 TR# needs a new top. i favor the sunbrella cloth material over the vinyl..
i have an old painted metal frame and pretty ugly side windows..
not sure whether it would simply be easier to buy all new or maybe have the metal frame sandblasted and painted.

the rest of the car is very nice.

someone told me Moss Motors and then someone else mentioned a place back east

Congrats on your new-to-you TR3. Moss Motors can supply tops in various materials, don't know if they offer side screen rebuilding. The Roadster Factory offers tops in various materials, as well as side screen rebuilding; a little spendy, though.....

Welcome Bruce! With Moss and The Roadster Factory (TRF) you have two of the largest suppliers. Others include Victoria British and British Part Northwest (BPNW).

Many of the tops supplied by vendors are made by Robbins so it may be worthwhile comparing prices and perhaps catching a sale.

The metal frame (called the hoodsticks in Britspeak) are usually fairly sound and just need refinishing. They are generally painted the same color as the body of the car.

When you get a chance you should post some pictures of your new TR3A and perhaps tell about how you came to own it.

Bruce, I bought my top from Moss and have been very pleased with it. Had my original side curtains restored by The Roadster Factory and they did a fantastic job. Paul
