Best source for J-clips?

I just ordered an all new stainless body bolt kit from www.mmsacc-stainless, but the only thing it doesn't include is new J-clips. Has anyone discovered a better source (cheaper and/or higher quality) than the usual big 3? I may reuse some of the old ones but some broke, others are way to rusty. I would rather have all new to match my shiny stainless.

Thanks

I have a bunch of small stainless j clips I don't need. What size do you need?

J clips sizes are determined by the size of the fastener that it fits, and by the length. Length would be the distance from the edge of the panel to the hole.

Here's a web page with an illustration: J-nuts

I now know they are called spire nuts and also speed nuts. The stainless kit called them J clips so that is what I went with. Sorry for any confusion.

If I can get them in stainless that would be ideal, otherwise I will give moss, or lbcarco a little of my money.

Thanks for the offer, especially if they are Stainless. I am not sure how many you have but I am looking to outfit the whole car. Anything will be better than nothing.

The dimensions for the clip is
5/8 wide x 1 inch long
The hole is offset 5/8 inch from the bent u section
The inner width is about 1/8
The hole is for a 1/4 inch bolt. These are ACME threads but I don't think that matters since unless your clips have actual threads.

There is one more size it is identical to the dimensions above except
the length is 11/16
the hole is offset 7/16 from the bend.

The dimensions only need to be close since these parts have a fair amount of play. Let me know if you have anything and what we can work out.

The 8 nuts for the rear fenders around the side light were not available from Moss or TRF awhile back. Both provided the same as used on the fender edges. Moss said to grind the edge down, which works, but is not ideal. The spire nuts from Moss and TRF were of the same quality, and cad plated.
