I have to replace the gas tank in my 67 3000. Any opinions on the best place to get one?

Yep, Go to E-Bay search" AH Gas Tanks" find [ Angel Heart Poncho] who sells a very high quality tank at a reasonable price. I do not think his prduct can be beat.-Fwiw--Keoke
 
Roger that. I bought one from him a year or so ago, and it looks just perfect (sitting on a shelf in the basement).

At some point, all my psuedo "racing mods" will be undone, and the car will revert back to its original condition (if not color).
