Anywhere but Mo$$ and Vic Brit.
Use a small guy, avoid the chinese made parts.
Worldwide Auto Parts in Madison WI., Just Brits in Chicago, Motorhead in Virginia, are all small and know the cars. Some of them are mo$$ resellers.
Ask them if THEY would use the part on their own car before you buy it. I know Peter from WWAP in Wisconsin tells you all he can get is a cheapo repro.
Sometimes it's that or no part. But atleast I know up front. Not like finding out the chrome peels off a bumper when you wash the car for the first time.

Depends on whether youwant new or used...for used, I'm the guy!

Thanks for the replies, I'll keep you posted on the resto...I probably need to start drinking warm beer to get in the mood..Mick

I have had good luck with https://www.lbcarco.com/ the guy is a moss distributor and does business via internet only. He is a lot cheaper than moss. Last time I ordered he sent me some free cookies with little Union Jack's on them. I called them once and the guy didn't like it. He likes E-mail to keep the prices down. Most time he doesn't charge mush for shipping either. I used to deal with a place called Special Interest Car Parts, out of RI, but I think they went under. Also the is a palce in Clemson, SC. called the "B" hive. I think they are on the internet as well.

Here is a fellow that I'm giving a try:
https://www.bscr.com/ he is giving me a better price than any other Moss reseller, and not charging me shipping.

Then there is Ed at www.justbrits.com, many people like him. He too is a mechanic and tries to get you the best part available. I've never heard anything negative about him unless it was a personality clash.

To date, I've purchased most parts from www.lbcarco.com or assorted people selling NOS. I usually find out about them from forums and mailing lists.

Good luck, and have fun!

I've had some very good luck from World Wide in Wisconsin & British Sports Car Restorations (www.bscr.com).

Items were as promised and seemed to be of good quality.

I had real good luck with AH spares. I'll look up their web address if you like. I ordered on Thurs. and had parts Mon. in Ohio. Saved some money even with the dollar conv. and freight.

A good one fairly close to you would be british racing green. They're in DE, i think, and my mechanic does business w/ them regularly (he's a good friend of mine and incidently, has a whole fleet worth of LBC customers)
