Best oil filter for spin-on?

I have been using Purolator L24457. Larger in diameter then the Fram 3600. Saw a cutaway of both and it also has more filtering capability.

I had a very bad experience with a non functioning relief valve on a Purolator oil filter once. I strongly recommend you go to Wix or Napa Gold.

I know that the link below comes from a MG Forum but, it shows the internal workings of the various filters currently sold for use on our cars. Very interesting when you can see the difference in the filtering media between the various brands.

I use the Purolator L30042 on my 71 6.
