Hey Ben a concept.

It's too hot to drive Amos here in the summer.
The winter months here are just perfect and enjoyable.

Your summer months are perfect while
your winter months are horrid.

Amos is running really great except probably needing
thrust washers which I will shortly replace.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

I could ship Amos to you for summer driving
You ship Amos back to me for winter driving

What do you think? (Once we both get our finances fixed)

Excellent Idea Dale except I could probably buy a drivable TR6 for what'd cost to ship Amos back and forth! hahahaha. I'd love the looks I'd get with the Puerto Rico Licence plate though!

Now your going to get "Sell Your Carshare" spam in your email. :jester:

Are you tellin' me, Ben- You could purchase an
Amos quality, restored 1969 TR6 for about $1,000.?
Somehow I doubt it. Besides, one of the trips will
eventually be one way.

later gator,

think on it.

Hmmmm.....is this like US citizens who go to Canada to get cheaper Rx's?? Sending Amos stateside to get cheaper parts? Will Amos have to have a passport??

This reminds me of the joke about the young boy who would cross the border every day, sometimes 2-3 times a day, riding a bicycle, carring 2 10lb bags of sand. The border guards knew he was up to something but could never figure it out. Years later one of the border guards met the now young man in a cantina. The guard told him they KNEW he was smuggling something but could never figure it out. The young man smiled and said - bicycles.

AHA!! THAT'S it! Dale's building brand new TR6's and importing them here - one at a time and only available in red!!! LOL

I never said "Amos Quality restored TR6" ... I just said drivable... I've got po' boy standards.. "Does it fall in half if ya open both doors? NO? I'll take it!"
hehehehehe...
You know I appreciate the offer, but I think I'd take that 1K and ship myself and family down there to get a drive in Amos.. probably to somewhere where they sell greasy roadside food... with lots of plantains! Moooaahahahahaha!
