Before I Get Myself In a Heap of Trouble.....

Gentlemen:

When I purchased my 1960 BE it had an aftermarket fuel gauge. I later purchased a Mark II gauge (I didn't know the difference at the time) which always reads full. I have been told that I need to match a MK II fuel sender with a Mark II gauge, (or a MkI witht a MKI), so I have purchased a MK sender.

Now comes my question:

- What is entailed with replacing the sender? Is it simply a matter of lowering the fuel tank, swapping out the old sender, and hooking it back up? I did get a new gasket with the sender, but is there more involved?

Let me know,

That's all it takes.

Should talk to Kim = Regularman he is our fuel guage expert.

Really sounds like the sender is not grounded or the wire between it and the gauge is broken.
