Hey LBC fans....

Happy New Year to you all..

My stable (of two cars) has been reduced to one.... Owing to some business problems and a need to gather a few dollars.. My '57 MGA is now owned by another..

Ah well... Maybe I'll do a TF or a Y Saloon when my fortunes turn around.

I do have a question about windshield wiper assemblies....

How do you remove the blade drive assembly from the cable/tube??

The original unit on my '66 B is stripped at the blade arm mount and I have a good one that I want to install but for the life of me can't figure out how to remove it from the cable....

Thanks

At the engine end, there's a round 'nut' you take off the motor...at the arms themselves, you have to loosen the 2 halves up under the cowl (or possibly take them off) as the housings hold the tube in place.

Ron... you're alive....

Thought I saw your A for sale on Craigslist. Sorry to hear that you had to get rid of it but at least you still have one MG. Work on my A has not progressed at all, having been delayed by a project Miata, although I feel the start is getting closer.

Simon,

Thanks for the reply... I still need to get over to see your A...

My B runs very nicely after the engine rebuild... The body and interior, however, are much the worse for wear...
