A "Thank You" gift arrived today from friends
who visit us with each winter to escape the cold
of the North East.

I'd like to share this stunning piece of Murano
glass sculpture with everyone. About 14" tall
with deep forest green going into a transition to
merlot wine red. It is hand blown lead crystal,
weighs a ton. What a fabulous thank you.

Ah, I forgot the important part.

Our friends who sent the gift just last
year gifted their beautiful TR4 to their son.

Goes to show you old Brit car owners have class!!

That is stunning Dale. I don't ususally get excited about stuff like that, but that piece is truly beautiful. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Beautiful! And I live 20 minutes east of Corning (of Corning glass/ Corning Museum of Glass, fame) so I tend to see a lot of fancy glass.
That's a fine piece. what a wonderful gift.
Love the colors

The wife and I have collected carnival glass glass for years we both love the colored glass.
