BE Rear Deck Ripples. Help

I picked up my BugEye from the stripper today. Sure is nice to have all of the paint off!!

When I bought the car I knew that the rear deck would need some work to make it straight. Can anyone share how you repaired this panel? I'm leaning towards investing in a few dollies and a hammer.

Thanks,

Ben in SC

Lots and lots of work Ben along with some light weight filler.

Tell me what did your striper charge, ball park is fine. And what did he put on after he striped it?

Thanks

Ben, lots and lots of work. It will take two of you. One on the dolly or shot bag, and one rolled up in a ball on the inside with the hammers, spoons, picks, etc.
There could also be some shrinking involved, with a torch and a wet rag.
One nice thing about the Bugeye is that the metal is thick enough for metal finishing, rather than just having to use filler material.
