MacGregor has a door seal that is only a "half bulb" profile rather than the complete "bulb". He said that many bugeye owners prefer it and it works just as well. I think he said it was similar to the MGA door seals.

I think they are selling one of MacGregor's products, but I talked to him at MG2006 and he showed me what he recommended, and I could clearly see how the profile would work better.

I do not know if the part he is listing on the web page is the one that is "correct" for the car, or the one he recommends.
