A very brisk 76*F when we headed out at 6:00 AM
this morning for some sunrise tarpon fishing. A beautiful
sunrise. Hooked a few nice tarpons, the old man hooked a
nice sized Lady fish on a new micro-mini fishing rig.
One 30# tarpon jumped clear over the stern of the boat
and almost hit us mid-air.

Anyone catch the news the earth and moon are as close as
get in every 1,000 years. That means super high and super
low tides. We kinda got stuck on the wrong side of a low
bridge ........with tide coming in. Bummer for us.

enjoy the warmth sent everyone's way!!!

Yupper- I'd a been out chasing Wahoos and Mahi today but it seems some
terribly tall seas have made their way down from New England's latest weather mess.

We were able to enjoy the moon last night. As we were geading to a Christmas party I just about had to pull over. We rounded a bend and there was the biggest deep orange moon I'd ever seen just coming over the horizon. Awesome!!!
A few tries of pics with the digi camera just diden't work. we needed a tripod.
but it was a sight I won't soon forget.
fish on amigo. We gotta cut holes in the ice to get to 'em here. that's kinda rough on the prop
