Those of you who read my other post know that I think I killed my battery by leaving it on the charger for a couple of weeks. I didn't know that a regular shop charger could burn out a battery, but it seemed to have done it.
Anyhow, I pulled the old battery this afternoon, and noticed that the water level was VERY low. Since this was not a sealed battery, I ran to the store and got distilled water and filled it up.
I hooked it up to the charger, outside the car, and the needle on my charger is moving all over the place, but mainly between the fully charged mark, and the red zone beneath it. I haven't ever seen it do this, does this point to a particular problem? Is this normal, or does this mean I am battery shopping tomorrow?
Thanks
