Sorry, I know this has been discussed, but I could not find the thread... what battery size/stlye do I need? Hoping to pick up a new one from walmart or somewhere like that tonight.
Group 24 for the 67s and earlier
What was group 22 for the 68s and up but I think they are no longer available so (not positive) but I think the new size that fits is a group 56.
I'm using an Optima Yellow Top Deep Cycle that fits perfectly in the Midget. I originally bought it and a few others for an UPS system (I run four of them on an APC in the house) and I don't remember the size. I think there is only a few sizes in the Yellow Optimas.
Your PX (AAFES) should carry them. I bought one a few years back at Hickam AFB.
