Battery charger recommendation

Need one for the car while I'm just cranking her.

Anyone have a recommendation? Cheaper the better so long as it works.

The last one I bought was at Halfords...

You mean you need to crank the car off the charger? You will need a starter / charger, not just a regular battery charger. If you plan to do a lot of cranking, meaning more than a few seconds per minute, you should buy a beefy one. I've had good luck with Craftsman but I don't have any recent experience with anything else.

No, I mean that I'm cranking a car that isn't running in order to fix the ecu parms so's I can get it idling at least.

The battery isn't flat yet (thank-you optima), but it will be soon, so I'll need a charger pdq.

If it goes flat I'm willing to wait until it charges (or use one of the other cars to jump it). I just need a recommendation for a smart charger that is reliable and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
