Battery Cable routing pics on a BN4?

Does anybody have a photo of how the battery cable passes over the rear axle on an early bn4? My car was completely disassembled when I got it. Also does the battery cable get held by the same clips as the brake line as it goes along the frame rail? I'd assume they should be separate clips but I don't have enough holes. Thanks so much?

On our BN4 the brake line was held on with clips on the side of the frame rail and the battery cable is held on with "P" clips screwed to the underside of the frame rail. The battery cable goes UNDER the axle and then up to the trunk wall. Hope these pictures show that.

Thanks so much. I had seen other rebuild photos from later cars that show it going up and over the axle but the routing was never clear. I feel like I am putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle with no idea where most of the pieces go.

Hi Chris
in my Drop Box album you can find the routing of all BN4 wiring- I have used a lot of photos from somewhere for the restoration - AH aren't so popular in Italy !

Thanks Andrea! It's really interesting how some of the photos show the cable going under the rear axle and some show it routed over. Comparing old holes on my frame it appears that mine was originally mounted under the axle.

Hi Chris
My cable was/is mounted over the axle. It is actually clipped to the bump box then the rear bulkhead then runs along the chassis. I'll try and attach a pic if I can work out how to do it on an lphone.
