Basil, et al and Forum Support [$]

Basil, or anyone else that can answer.

Recently, a member of the forum extended me a courtesy for which he refused remuneration.

Well, I thought I might return the favor by making a contribution to the forum in his name, having already mentally pre-disposed myself of the said funds, and what a good use of the funds, no matter how small!

Initiating a search for the "Support Your Forum" button that had appeared sometime before, I came up empty handed!

I was slightly astonished, having been curtailed in my surreptitious, double, good deed...I was left somewhat deflated. Not to be put off so easily, I posted a query; one, or two, others replied they were equally baffled. Having commenced, I decided to immediately appeal to the top and used the "Leave a Message" feature displayed at the bottom of our new pages...to no avail. The Emperor is either too busy, or uninterested(?) in explaining how one might go about making a contribution.

Can anyone elucidate?

By the way did you notice how it replaced your "@" with an image of the "@" ? That's a little something I modified myself so that if you post an email address in the forums, the spam bots can't get it. (But this does not work of you use the email button in the editor to post an email address - something that I discourage stongly! The fastest way to get you email address picked up by spammer is to post same in a public forum. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

(Think I'll mention this in the forum discussion forum as well)
